It’s easy to take great pictures of a couple who is so obviously in love. Back in October I was fortunate to have the opportunity to shoot the engagement photos for Lisa and Chad. It became immediately apparent just how perfect for one another they are. Throughout the course of the shoot I learned about their history together – from their initial meeting, to the proposal Chad managed to pull off (with flying colors, literally) – to their hopes and dreams for the future. I witnessed firsthand their ease with, and affection for, one another; it was refreshing to behold. All the pictures can be seen in the archive. We started off in the park and took advantage of the perfect weather!
Lisa convinced Chad to lie in the grass which resulted in some great shots! We then headed to a back cobblestone alley where we found a nice flower box; serendipitous discoveries like this are wonderful.
After some more shooting on the tree lined walkway, Lisa thought it might be fun to try some shots on the playground; she was right!
With the weather beginning to get threatening, we decided to head over to the train station; it was a fantastic shooting location.
We were able to get some good shots in this historical location; we worked quickly and made the most of the environment.
The weather cooperated and we were able to finish the shoot outside. Thanks to my assistant for the day, Christina, we were also able to get some shots using off camera flash (top left.)
